Steve Tyler may be one of America's greatest rock legends as the lead singer of Aerosmith, but instead of teaching his grandson how to rock out, he says he's more likely to teach him how to fish.
Talking about his daughter Liv Tyler's two-and-a-half-year-old son Milo, whose dad is Spacehog singer Royston Langdon, Steve says:
"He's just the cutest little thing. I'm gonna teach him how to fish if I can get to him before Royston does. He'll teach him how to golf, I'll teach him how to fish."
While that doesn't sound very rock'n'roll, Steve isn't hanging up his microphone just yet. He is currently in the midst of what he describes as an "outrageous" US tour with fellow rock-heavyweights, Motley Crue.
Commenting on his lithe physique, the 58-year-old says: "I hit the gym and I give two hours of my all on stage every night. I lose a pound a night." Aerosmith next release will be a greatest hits album before Steve strikes out with a new solo project.

Orlando Bloom took a break from filming blockbusters like Pirates of The Caribbean and scaled things considerably back by producing Haven, using his star power to make things happen such as calling up some of his musician friends to be on the soundtrack.
Orlando also stars in the independent film shot on location in the Cayman Islands. Written and directed by native islander Frank E. Flowers, Orlando took a couple of lessons in island life for his character.
"Well Shy is a fisherman so he kind of has a free and easy manner about him. I went down to the local docks. Frank E. Flowers, Sr. organized a session with some local fisherman so that I could scale fish and spray down some boats."
Haven is kind of a Romeo and Juliet story where Bloom’s common fisherman is forbidden to love the local businessman’s daughter played by Zoe Saldana. "The love that he has for this girl is forbidden so it’s a forbidden love and her family who is a wealthy Caymanian family just have no interest in the young fisherman who’s got no prospects being in this relationship with their princess of a daughter."
Orlando also fell in love with the Cayman Islands and is considering buying a home in the tropical paradise.
"One of the other great joys was to make a film in the Cayman Islands which I didn’t know anything about. I spent three weeks here and I’d love to have a place here.
The temperature is beautiful and it’s been like a working holiday. I feel so lucky to have been involved so it was good." If his Pirates schedule allows him Orlando hopes to be back in The Cayman Islands for the movie’s premiere.
